Our Story

Tri-Cities Sleigh Team was founded by Eric Honaker with a vision of creating a nonprofit that brings the community together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the Tri-Cities community. Drawing on his background in event management and his passion for humanity, Eric saw an opportunity to turn that passion into a lasting platform for generosity. Tri-Cities Sleigh Team was created to connect individuals, businesses, and community partners with neighbors who are facing difficult circumstances through programs like Nominate Your Neighbor, while using community events and fundraising to generate the resources needed to help.

At its heart, Tri-Cities Sleigh Team is about creating a culture where helping others becomes a community tradition. Whether providing assistance with essential needs, responding to unexpected hardships, or creating moments of hope during the holiday season, the organization exists to remind people that they do not have to face difficult times alone. Eric’s vision is for Tri-Cities Sleigh Team to grow into a lasting community institution.
